BowWow Lounge Dog Daycare

INDOOR PARK:
Our 7,500 sq.ft. daycare building is divided into 4 large play groups and each play group is determined by age, size and temperament. This allows us to have smaller groups playing at all times, making sure they go home tired at the end of each day. With the amount of constant activity, they have a continuous supply of fresh water available to them throughout the day. We do encourage the energy level to fluctuate throughout the day so the dogs have some down time, however, we do NOT have a mandatory rest period. If you are afraid that all day play is too much for your puppy or elderly dog please let us know and we will be happy to incorporate solo nap time into your dog's daily routine.

OUTDOOR PLAY LOT:
During above freezing weather, our 1,500 sqft of outdoor space is devoted to the wild side! Assorted play equipment, including agility and swimming pools (during the summer), is available to your dogs for added stimulation. No concrete here, we have covered it in dog and eco friendly astro-turf which keeps the play lot cleaner and promotes a real outdoor feel. Each play group gets plenty of time during the day to let the wind blow through their hair! Dogs DIG it!

STAFF:
With each dog comes an individual personality and need, our staff works with and sees all of our daycare, boarding and walking dogs on a weekly basis which helps ensure a special rapport and gained trust with each.

Each staff member has a great passion for dogs and routine education and evaluation by respected Chicago animal trainers helps them to understand and gently correct undesirable behavior patterns (i.e. jumping). The main function of daycare and kennel attendants: throwing balls, interacting one-on-one, supervising dog play, keeping them occupied and safe.
